There is a trick that allows you to avoid paying upfront. Here's how to do it:

1. Link your bank account to your PayPal account: Go to "Wallet" on PayPal, click on "Link a Bank" and enter all the required information. Then, follow the instructions to confirm your bank account.

2. In a raffle that accepts PayPal payment, use your PayPal account and select your bank account at the checkout.

3. You will enter the raffle without any money being taken from your bank account.

4. If you win, the company will deduct the payment from your bank account and ship your shoes.

It is also a good idea to enter all precharge raffles the evening before their closing time. This allows you to avoid any issues with the PayPal trick and, for credit card raffles, keep your money available for shock drops or unexpected events.
