Raffle: General informations
A raffle is a process used by sneaker shops to sell sneakers. The process involves customers entering a drawing for a chance to purchase the sneakers. The retailer randomly selects winners from the pool of entries and notifies them via email or other communication methods. Once notified, the winners can purchase the sneaker at the retailer's designated location or through their website.
The vast majority of stores have opted for this system because it can be fairer for those who do not use bots and because it leaves everything to luck. The process is simple, requiring basic personal information (such as your shipping address) and the desired shoe size.
However, not all raffles are the same, there are different types:
-Reserved raffles require a pro account on the website that you can obtain by spending a certain amount of money.
-Precharge raffles require an upfront payment and are generally βeasierβ to win. if you win the shop will keep your money, if you lose the retailer will refund you.
-Instagram raffles which require liking a post, following the page, and tagging friends. This type of raffle is mainly used by skate shops.
Timing and requirements vary for each raffle, so it's important to check carefully before participating.
