Restocks offers two types of selling methods:
Consign: You can set your own price and ship the shoes immediately for authentication, after Restocks receives your package will post your item on their site. Once someone buys the shoes, you will receive your payment.
Resell: Similar to StockX, you can set your asking price and wait for someone to buy it. When your item is sold the process is the same as StockX.
Another difference between the two methods is the fees: Consign charges 5% of the final price, while Resell charges 10%.
Restocks also has a payout section that shows the final price you will receive.
After someone buys your item on Restocks, you must ship it within 2 days. The process is similar to StockX, as it involves using the UPS Access Point and following the instructions sent to your email.
However, the biggest difference between Restocks and StockX is the timing of payments. StockX usually pays out within a few days, Restocks currently pays out for shoes sold four months ago.
Restocks is generally less restrictive than StockX when it comes to package condition. While StockX typically returns packages that are even slightly damaged, Restocks is much more likely to confirm the sale even if the package has some damage.
As a result, Restocks may not be the best choice if you need money quickly. However, Restocks generally offers higher payouts than StockX, making it a good option if you have a lot of money and don't need to make fast flips.
